Hundreds of Thousands of dollars are handed over to the perpetually unmotivated recipients in my county. I have to be drug tested to keep my job. Why can’t they be drug tested in order to receive our hard-earned tax dollars as food, cash, housing assistance?
I live in Michigan. It needs to be a law. Too many people here are abusing the system. Required them to have an initial drug and alcohol test and random testing to keep getting welfare. If they don’t show up to get the test, it probably means they are abusing drugs and the system. They have no choice but to shape up and get a job or go live in jail.
Yes, I know, it probably means alot more kids will get put into foster care. Very sad isn’t it. Something needs to give these parents a wake-up call.
