Im taking adderall once in while when i have a major test or something i need to concentrate for, i was wondering if this on and off usage is bad?

i have been prescribed to adderall for about a month and i usually just take one 20mg in the morning around seven, now it’s nine pm and i have a lot of studying to do(i’m having problems focusing) but i’m not sure if it is ok for me to take another 20mg or not, any advice?? i’m 16 male
i also only got one hour of sleep last night

i have taken adderall twice. it was a week ago i last took. if i wait another week to take some more. and i take 40 MG instead of just 20MG will i over dose???? i dont wanna die. but i wanna have some fun while im young on this stuff

I take adderall 25XR but I feel like it lasts about 4 hours. If I take 2 a day, the effect seems about right. Is this too much? My doc told me to take 25 and then ritatlin to even out the afternoon, but I tried another adderall instead and it seemed perfect. Thoughts?
